These common terms accompany the quote for each job. The scope, price, payment stages and applicable contracting arrangements are provided before acceptance. Browsing this website does not place an order.

Quotes and acceptance
An enquiry, sending photos or browsing the website does not place an order. Before acceptance, the quote identifies the work, equipment, total price including applicable taxes, known additional charges, payment terms, validity and the timing or conditions for carrying out the work.
An order requires acceptance of the quote and the terms provided before the contract is concluded. Any advance payment has the amount and purpose stated in the quote. These terms do not change earlier contracts or override the customer’s mandatory legal rights.
Visits and diagnosis
Any charge for a visit or diagnosis, or the way it is calculated, is disclosed before booking and must be accepted by the customer. Deducting that charge from a later repair applies only if agreed.
The diagnosis may justify a proposal different from an initial estimate based on photos or descriptions. The customer receives that information before authorising the repair.
Included work and materials
The work and materials are those described in the quote. Additional work, changes of solution or unforeseen costs are submitted for acceptance before being carried out.
Work depends on material compatibility, the condition of the equipment, safety and access. Any obstacle and its effect on the work, price and schedule are explained. Work requiring specific legal authorisation depends on verification of that authorisation before it is carried out.
Equipment supplied by the customer
Installation of customer-supplied equipment depends on an assessment of compatibility, completeness and safety. TecCasa informs the customer of any missing, unsuitable or damaged material identified.
Rights relating to the sale of that equipment are exercised against its seller or guarantor, as applicable. TecCasa remains responsible for correctly performing its own work and for damage or defects attributable to it. Customer supply does not remove that responsibility.
Scheduling and payment
The schedule and payment stages are those agreed in the quote. Changes due to material availability or site conditions are communicated and revised terms are agreed with the customer.
Cancellation or changes should be requested as soon as possible. Amounts payable or refundable are assessed under the contract and applicable law, including withdrawal rights where applicable. These terms do not automatically forfeit all advance payments.
Guarantees and support
Statutory rights applying to the supply and the work remain in force. For sales to consumers of new movable goods covered by Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021, the statutory liability period for lack of conformity is generally three years from delivery, subject to statutory suspensions and other applicable rules. Building work, immovable property and standalone repairs are assessed under their applicable legal regimes.
A manufacturer’s commercial guarantee is additional and does not reduce the consumer’s statutory rights against the seller. A fault is assessed by its cause and connection with the supplied materials and work. The presence of existing or third-party components does not automatically exclude the whole installation.
For support, contact geral@tec-casa.pt or 922 021 980 with the job details, date and symptoms. Send only necessary photos. Assessment of a lack of conformity is not conditional on paying a diagnosis charge in advance.
Withdrawal and starting work
For distance or off-premises consumer contracts carrying a statutory right of withdrawal, the period is normally 14 days, or 30 days in the situations specifically provided by law. The period, its starting point, exceptions and conditions for the particular contract are disclosed before acceptance.
You may withdraw by an unequivocal statement sent to geral@tec-casa.pt or the registered office shown in the legal information. The model below is optional. Where applicable, reimbursement is made within the statutory 14 days of notification, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed without charges. For sales of goods, reimbursement may await receipt of the goods or evidence of return as permitted by law. Return arrangements and any return costs are disclosed beforehand.
If you want a service to begin during the withdrawal period, a separate express request and acknowledgment of the loss of the right once the service has been fully performed under the legal conditions are collected. For off-premises contracts, this request is made on a durable medium. Starting work alone does not automatically remove the right. Withdrawal during performance gives rise only to the proportionate amount permitted by law.
Statutory exceptions include certain repair or maintenance services at the consumer’s home at their request. The specific classification is disclosed before contracting and is not treated as a blanket exemption for any new installation or additional supply.
Complaints and personal data
Send enquiries or complaints to geral@tec-casa.pt. The Electronic Complaints Book and information on alternative consumer dispute resolution are accessible in the footer and the Legal information page. These channels do not restrict the customer’s statutory rights.
Enquiry and job data is handled under the Privacy policy. Sending photos for equipment assessment does not authorise their publication on social media or in advertising. Promotional use requires separate, specific permission.
Optional withdrawal form
Complete and send this only if you wish to withdraw from a contract carrying that right. You can also send another unequivocal statement.
